The ticker pulls current gaming headlines from a selection of gaming news websites, official platform news sources, free-game feeds, and gaming communities. Headlines automatically scroll across your stream, giving your viewers fresh gaming news while you play, chat, or take a break.
No coding experience is required. The included visual setup tool lets you customize your ticker, preview your changes, and generate your own ready-to-use ticker.html file.
Customize your ticker:

The downloadable package includes the OBS Game News Ticker, an easy-to-use visual setup tool, a Start Here guide, setup instructions, a settings guide, and troubleshooting documentation.
Once you've customized your ticker, the setup tool creates a complete ticker.html file containing your selected settings. Simply add the file to OBS as a local Browser Source—no hosting or web server required.
Requirements:
- OBS Studio with Browser Source support
- Windows or another operating system capable of opening local HTML files
- An active internet connection to retrieve current headlines
- Basic ability to add and configure a Browser Source in OBS
The ticker width can be adjusted to fit your stream layout. For best results, set the OBS Browser Source height to match the ticker height selected in the setup tool.
Important information about news sources:
The OBS Game News Ticker retrieves headlines from third-party RSS feeds and uses third-party services to access those feeds. These websites, RSS feeds, and services are not owned or controlled by the seller.
Individual news sources may occasionally become temporarily unavailable, change their RSS feed, limit access, or stop providing a feed altogether. Because these services are operated by third parties, uninterrupted availability of every news source cannot be guaranteed.
The ticker is designed so that a problem with one source does not necessarily prevent other available sources from loading. Initial headline loading may also take a short time. A loading message is displayed while the ticker retrieves its first headlines.
