As of the latest update at 1pm CDT, Hurricane Milton is now a monster Category 5 Hurricane with 175mph winds. A category 5 hurricane is any hurricane with wind speeds above 157mph. 

Mandatory evacuations are in place, areas near Tampa Bay are forecasted to get 8-12ft of storm surge. 

As you can see on the track, is expected to weaken some to a category 4 and then even to a category 3 just before landfall which I am hoping happens. 

If you are or anyone you know lives in Florida, tell them to get out before this storm hits.
